Transcend

"Transcend" is a new euregional Interreg trans-sectorial technology transfer project operated by the Interface Entreprises-Université de Liège, the regional development agency AGIT in Aachen and the Limburg Development Company LIOF in Maastricht.

The objectives of this project are:

• to stimulate technology transfer projects specifically across different technological sectors;
  
• to identify and develop economic activities through the creation of new products & processes;
  
• to create added value and employment.

The overall objective is obviously to contribute to the economic development of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine.

"Transcend" targets enterprises and research centres of the Euregio willing to get the best return on the results of their work.

The project focuses on technology transfer from (or to) biotechnologies to (or from) the following seven sectors:

Biotechnologies and medical tools;
Biotechnologies and molecular imaging;
Biotechnologies and information & communication technologies;
Biotechnologies and nanotechnologies;
Biotechnologies and high added value materials;
Biotechnologies and biodegradable polymers;
Biotechnologies and agro-food industry
